Surrender your senses and set sail on the singing seas. The Mackerel of the Sea will be your guide as we journey to oceanic realms unchartered — the unstable waters where sound and spirit, fact and fantasy, witch and woman collide. Find yourself submerged in a folktale filled with voices from past and present. Perhaps you too will be transformed.
The Mackerel of the Sea is a unique performance experience that combines folk song, storytelling and sensory performance — all inside a giant fish!
A new work by Georgie Buchanan Performance supported by National charity for new music — Sound and Music and featuring the astounding vocals of Emma Camilleri Eleanor Begley and Olivia Bhattacharjee oceans of scintillating song will await you on this beautiful night!
