A 60th anniversary screening of Louis Malle’s mesmerising debut feature, Ascenseur Pour L’échafaud. Made when he was just 24 years old, Malle’s stylish homage to Hollywood noir is a tale of love, betrayal, murder and misfortune. With a sultry score by Miles Davis, and a career-defining performance from nouvelle vague icon Jeanne Moreau.
The doors open at 8:30 pm and the film starts at 9pm.
