The first part of our day retreat will start with meditation and pranayama.

~ Learn techniques to keep your body mind and soul in perfect balance.
We'll then break for refreshment.
The next part of the day, we will set our intention ready for practice.
A guided Yoga practice suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners.
Using Yin and Yang energies, We'll discover forces within the body that opens and reconnects.
In the next part of the class the body will supported with props (bolsters, blocks, blankets) to find the most nurturing variations of postures. When practiced regularly, restorative yoga can help in the relief of fatigue and chronic stress. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a complete beginner, this style of yoga will revive and restore your body, bringing a deeper awareness to your mind/body experience.
The antidote to stress is relaxation. To relax is to rest deeply. Relaxation is a state in which there is no movement, no effort, and the brain is quiet. In this class the body will be put in nurturing yoga postures, with the aid of props in which to support the body. When practiced regularly they will help you to relieve the effects of fatigue to chronic stress.
