After a successful launch in Manchester, we’ve decided to cross the Dales to showcase an event in the bass-heavy city of Leeds. Considering the circumstances of the event date, we thought what a better way to celebrate 420 than having a night dedicated to all things strictly dub, dubstep, dancehall and reggae.

Labelhead of Crucial Recordings, Sleeper has extended his tastemaking musical palette to his very own imprint. Since its inception, Crucial has stood as a beacon in the underground dubstep world for unearthing the freshest, standard-setting talent within the scene.
Previously receiving radio and club support from the likes of Youngsta, Mala, Rinse FM and BBC Radio, Sleeper has become a veteran of Distance’s Chestplate imprint as well as Kryptic Minds’ Osiris label, and received a Fabric London residency in the Chestplate Room.
Having already delivered releases from Foamplate, Oxóssi, Samba, Eva808, Moonstones, Thelem and Mesck, Sleeper’s imprint continues to nurture the progression of the ever-expanding dubstep sound, as it continues to fulfil its vision for pushing multifaceted bass music with each and every release.

Nearly ten years in the making, Arta’s kept up to date in dub/dubstep community. Earlier this year, he had his own guest mix on BBC Introducing as well as playing every weekend, his tracks range from Chord Marauder-esque chilled-out 140 to experimental hip hop inspired 160bpm. Releases vary across the globe label wise, in countries such as the UK, USA and Europe.
Leeds local and Iration Steppas crew for many years, his militant selection is on point due to his heavy selection of rough steppas.
