#BiggerAndBetterInLeeds is back for 2018! It's a one day, free to attend, annual event to mark World Autism Awareness Week in Leeds.
The event is intended to increase autism understanding, awareness and acceptance across the city and to promote a positive view of autistic people.
We have some fantastic guest speakers lined up for his years event — television producer and comedic writer Henry Normal, and local DWP neurodiversity expert Angie Balmer, who will both be providing information and a personal insight into autism.
There will be more than 30 stalls representing autism charities, parent support groups, NHS services, Leeds City Council, Citizens Advice Bureau, DWP and more.
You can find information on diagnosis, employment, education, mental health, advocacy and peer support. The event is free to attend and open to all autistic adults, children, parents, carers, charities, services, business' and the general public!
