Sixteen beautiful and quirky giant lantern sculptures by master puppet makers, Handmade Parade and Cecil Green Arts will grace City Park.

Everyone is invited to play with Illumaphonium (Bank Street), beautifully dynamic semi-acoustic, music making light sculptures. As dusk falls, three large translucent Talking Heads (New Market Place) become magically animated with the audience’s faces, lip-syncing them into mysterious soundtracks. Irritating road works become things of beauty and attraction in Bureau of Silly Ideas (Temporary Gardens, City Park), a fascinating installation with subversive silly twists. See your face in Lightweight (Temporary Gardens, City Park), a huge inflated video sphere capturing its audience as it glows in the night sky.
