The Song Cycle Project presents Vaughan Williams' Songs of Travel, but not as you know it.
Breaking classical music barriers and stereotypes, they will be performing a dynamic version of this beautiful cycle. The Song Cycle Project will be working with contemporary dancer Martha Gosnold to enhance the interactive dimension to this performance. These engaging nine songs explore the term 'home'; where you are from, where you settle and it's impact. This has become a more prominent and challenged topic in the UK and worldwide.
The concert is in aid of Communication Matters, who provide aid and support to people who have lost their voice through illness (brain injury, stroke, MND).
